Our History

Unity Printing Company, Inc. was founded in 1979 by James Ernette. Over the years, the acquisition of several small printing companies contributed to the company’s growth and established it as a leader in the market.
Today, Unity Printing is under the direction of Ernette’s daughter, Lisa Frederick, and her husband, G. Joseph (Joe) Frederick. Unity Printing welcomed the family’s third generation to the business: Ashley Frederick, daughter of Lisa and Joe in 2013. In 2014, the company achieved certification as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
With over 45 years as a full service printing company, Unity Printing specializes in: graphic design, offset printing, digital printing, screen printing, embroidery, trophies & plaques, diamond drag engraving, laser engraving, UV printing, glass etching, sand carving, signs & banners, bindery & finishing services, mailing services, promotional products, packaging & shipping, and climate controlled warehousing.
Located just south of Latrobe along Route 981 in Westmoreland County, Pa., the company’s facilities are comprised of over 50,000 square feet of office, production, and warehouse space across three buildings.
